Video Editor
Mumbai - Permanent
No Fluff is looking for a Video Editor who cares as much about the craft as the outcome. You'll edit, shape, and deliver work end-to-end, hold the line on quality, and naturally become someone other editors look to for how it's done
This is a full-time, in-office position at our Mumbai workspace, where you'll collaborate closely with the creative and strategy teams. In this role, you'll handle end-to-end editing, motion graphics, and visual refinement to create content that aligns with brand goals and captures audience attention.
What You Will Be Doing
From Ideation to Final Cut
Get involved from ideation onward - sharing visual references, reel styles, and edit ideas before a single frame is shot
Build compelling narratives from raw footage, scripts, briefs, and half-formed ideas alike
Break conventional editing norms while ensuring strong, cohesive storytelling
Own the edit from rough cut to fine cut to final delivery, never losing sight of the story
Master the Technical Symphony
Build motion graphics, typography systems, and dynamic on-screen elements that elevate visual storytelling
Apply advanced colour grading and sound design to enhance overall production quality
Optimise every asset for the platform it's built for - YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more - so nothing looks like an afterthought
Quality Control and Craft
Own the quality bar on your work - catching issues before they reach client or leadership review
Set up and refine post-production workflows and standards for smoother execution
Stay ahead of industry trends, pioneering new techniques rather than waiting to adopt them
Share techniques with fellow editors to raise the bar on the team's output
Client and Team Collaboration
Turn client feedback into polished, high-quality final edits
Present creative decisions with confidence, justifying edits and storytelling choices
Partner with creative and strategy teams to bring concepts to life, from early ideas to final execution
Step in as the go-to person on the editing team when a project needs direction or a second opinion
What We're Looking for
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (DaVinci Resolve for colour grading is a plus)
A solid grasp of sound design and audio editing, because visuals are only half the story
Hands-on experience with motion graphics and animation, to add that extra flair
Deep understanding of video codecs, compression, and delivery formats, so everything runs smoothly
Proficiency in file organisation and project management tools, because a clean workflow means faster edits
Qualifications & Experience
4 - 6 years of professional video editing experience with a portfolio that shows both range and craft
A knack for storytelling through video - it's not just about cutting clips; it's about creating impact
Proven experience keeping high-priority projects on track, from concept to delivery
Ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects without breaking a sweat
Strong team player, with a natural tendency to guide fellow editors
Strong communication and presentation skills, because great editing deserves a great pitch
Experience working with global brands and diverse content formats; versatility is key
